Below is an example of an office to 3 bedroom apartment refurbishment. I bought this as my home with a plan to renovate. It required spatial planning to make the overall layout work with existing soil stack & service locations.

I moved the entrance to compartmentalise the flat entirely at the top of the stairs by adding a winder box to the stairs to create space. I then refurbished the existing space into a large 3 Bedroom Penthouse.

Developer Experience
ArcTec uses industry standards such as Housing Quality Indicators, a system applied to housing schemes to ensure quality over cost control, and has been merged into Building Regulation legislation. They cover design aspects within a home, such as size, layout, noise, services, circulation and accessibility.

ArcTec works to National Space Standards. Statutory guidance provided by the government to ensure a minimum technical design standard is met such as minimum room sizes.

ArcTec has experience working on Lifetime Home projects, ordinary homes designed to incorporate Design Criteria that adds to the convenience of the home and supports the changing needs of individuals and families at different stages of life.
