ArcTec works to current UK building regulations & legislation, providing drawings to clients that meet these strict requirements in order to be approved by building control prior to construction.
The drawings provide detailed & coordinated information for builders to construct on site. See below for examples of a typical house types construction package, including substructure & superstructure details.
The building regulations apply to most building work, therefore it is important to know when approval is needed, what type of approval you need & where you can get approval.
The responsibility for checking that building regulations have been met falls to building control bodies either from the local authority or the private sector as an approved inspector.
